I saw Mal Blum perform years ago at a show and I felt instantly connected to the songs they wrote. There's something just really comfortable about the stories the songs tell, and it can seem so personal at times that it just feels like your own feelings inserted into the words you couldn't find on your own.

What a great album. It took me a while to really get the whole album but I can confidently say it's one of her best. The shorter songs are certainly a different feel, but I still like it. I could pick like five different songs as my favorite and all of them would feel right lol
